All apartments are applied for through a housing application, whether you are a new applicant or already living in Mikalo’s or the city of Mikkeli’s apartments. The application is easiest and fastest to complete electronically.
You can browse Mikalo’s apartments in the apartment search. Note that not all available or soon-to-be-available apartments are listed there. Most apartments are rented directly based on applications. Therefore, if you don’t find a suitable apartment in the listing of available apartments, still submit a housing application.
Please fill out the application carefully and as comprehensively as possible. Incomplete applications will not be processed. Each section asked for in the application is crucial for making resident selections. It is particularly important to indicate the need for accommodation and the reasons for it. If necessary, you can provide further details about your situation in the ’Other reasons’ text field.
If during the validity period of the application (3 months) you haven’t found a suitable apartment, you can renew your application via email or by calling the tenant secretaries.
